UMSL applications are down, but WashU has stayed about the same. They filled around 1/3 of the class through ED. Won't know exact numbers until the RD selections are made. WashU does not release stats early.

If your status didn't change to boarded until after the 2nd board review, your application wasn't even looked at. You will have a chance with the 3rd/final board.

The second board review is supposed to complete today. If his status has changed to boarded already, he has a chance with both this boarding class and the 3rd/final boarding class, correct?

According to Clarkson's website, these are the board dates:
2nd High School Selection Board 5-Jan-15
4-Year High School Application Deadline for SY 15-16 10-Jan-15
Final (3rd) HS Selection Board Deadline for Docs — Missing Items 28-Feb-15
3rd High School Board-Ready List PMS Deadline 6-Mar-15
Final (3rd) High School Selection Board 9-Mar-15
I may have misspoken above. Perhaps those that met the 2nd board on 5 JAN were changed to boarded this week. Either way, results last year took 2-3 weeks after the board date so don't expect to hear anything until the end of next week. If they release results before that, there will be a lot of postings on this forum.

Okay so just to clarify. I still have a shot at the second board scholarship even though my application was just switched to boarded last night. Is this true because I am really confused.

Yes you have a chance. Do not worry. They have reviewed your file in time for second board selection.
Yes you have a shot, Board Ready means your packet is ready to be reviewed by the Board. Boarded means your packet has been reviewed by the Board. Results should be out in a couple weeks.
When the 1st board ended, people's status changes either went to "awarded / winner" or "boarded". It seems weird that those awarded from the 1st board didn't go to "boarded" for 2 or 3 weeks before changing to "awarded", but is that what we are looking to see from the 2nd board? I haven't seen anyone post their status is "awarded". Past experience would seem to say if your status changed to "boarded" this week then you might have to hang in for the long haul to April. But who really knows? Good luck!

Are you sure ? Because the majority of people were changed to boarded on this forum. I believe that if your status is still board ready then you must hang on for the haul because the board is ending today.
I wouldn't read to much into the "Board Ready" "Boarded" Status, if your application was complete and submitted by the deadline for this board then you will be reviewed by this board. You will either see a status change that says "Awarded/Winner" or your status will just simply remain as it is and you will be rolled over to the next board.
CC has always been slow with the simple updates, the only updates that come out all at once are the Award/Winner updates. There are not many people at CC that do these updates and they take time. Again, if your application was ready for this board then your being reviewed, you just have to wait now to see if your selected this board or rolled to the next.
You all may want to start a new thread for this Board so it doesn't get lost in the back pages of this thread.

DS portal status was "BOARDED" prior to the first board. He was fortunate to have been chosen the by the first board. His portal as updated 5NOV to "Winner". At that time it listed three school for him to choose from. He immediately sent in his acceptance. For a period of time the three schools remained on his portal, but his selection said "preferred" if I recall correctly. Ultimately, his portal was updated to a single school that says "Offer Accepted". Hope that helps.

I am sorry. Prior to the board meeting his portal status was "Board Ready". Sometime during or after the first board it updated to "Boarded". Later was updated to "Winner". "Boarded" means it went before the board and your file was scored and placed on the OML.

The last boards timetable included the selection board on 20-OCT-14, and the winners were notified on 5-NOV-14. That is 16 days. If the second board follows the same pattern, hopefully the winners hear around 21-JAN-15 which is 16 days after the board started on 5-JAN-15.
