I agree with others who said to search older threads for information about the process, what to expect, etc.
As it relates to any video/virtual interview, there are several things to do ahead of time. Make sure to setup the software and that it is configured correctly and works on the PC you plan to use. Have a practice call with someone else so you can adjust the video/volume/lighting and know how to use the various feature. During the actual interview is NOT the time to be fiddling with the setup and possibility cutting off the BGO you are speaking with. With any video product, there tends to be a slight delay when speaking. Try to avoid talking over the other person by listening carefully to when they have stopped speaking. If you pause a lot when speaking, you can also create more issues since the other person won't know if you are done talking. Try to use a quiet room in your house where pets/small children or other distractions can be minimized. Turn OFF your cell phone, TV, radio and any other electronics to avoid being distracted during the interview. Mute or close out of any other software that might provide audio notifications (such as email or social media). Make sure there is adequate lighting and that the sound is good. Try to remove clutter from the background where you be sitting (i.e. look at what is BEHIND you on the video) or point the camera in such a way to minimize those distractions.
