What kind of questions should I ask? How fancy do I have to dress? Would it be rude if I asked him to come to my house/city (roughly one hour drive)

There are so many threads about this subject, covering all the topics you mention and more. Please be proactive and use the search box at the top of this forum. You’ll find more info than you know what to do with.

What follows is only my opinion. So feel free to take it for what you paid for it.

I think that you should ask your BGO where he/she wants to meet. If the BGO wants to drive an hour to get to your house, that is something the BGO should offer.
Business casual is okay for a BGO interview. Wear something that you would wear to a job interview, but also something comfortable.

Do you have questions about USNA? The process of the application? What life is like there, as opposed to "regular college"? Do you understand the nomination process?
Did you BGO graduate from USNA? Did he/she visit there recently?

Surely you have a lot of questions. If you're looking for a "list of questions you should ask", then you're thinking about the BGO interview wrong.
Just be you. Not you wearing flip flops and shorts, but more professional you.

If your BGO says something, listen. They typically know a lot more about what you're planning on getting yourself into than you do.
They may answer several of your questions without you even having to ask them.

Your BGO will want to come away from the interview knowing at least 3 or 4 things about you that they didn't know before.
If you have a good conversation with them - that should be a piece of cake - for both of you.

See the Sticky at the top of the Forum- that covers the "what to wear " issue very well.

I have the candidate come to my office for the interview, but BGO's each have their own preference.
(My deal is you come to me for the interview, but when you get in, I come to your school to present the Appointment --my longest has been about a 4 hour, one way drive !).

I usually start the interview with the explanation that I don't see you application, but want to know about you --your interest, motivation to attend USNA, and what makes you different and standout among the candidates. This is not a whole lot different than a job interview.

As others have noted, be polite and professional, but be yourself. No need to put on some fake show trying to be someone you aren't.
