Is the service obligation extended when one is selected to be a Bowman Scholar ?
Is the time at grad school counted towards service obligation?

Typically, you accrue additional ADSO when attending degree grad school on the Navy dime or time, usually at a 2:1 payback ratio. One year program, owe 2 years, for example. The key is whether it can be served concurrently with already incurred ADSO or is piled on consecutively.
I believe Bowman ADSO is concurrent. The payback would start at the same time as the usual time for baby nukes. That occasionally changes. Someone will have the latest policy.
