Branching at the citadel

How well do citadel cadets normally do when branching into the army? Do they normally get their top picks? I know it generally is up to how well the individual cadet does and the needs of the army, but do citadel cadets generally do okay? What is the likelihood of branching combat? Thanks to all replies!

Actually it is mainly up to how the cadet does individually. The school you attend can have an effect in how well they conduct the training but in the end it will be up to you. Your GPA, APFT, and how you do at LDAC will have a large effect on your OML as well as your PMS Eval.
