Thanks Mom529. I am a not so silent stalker! I can't leave without knowing how all of my forum friends end up. I am still praying for those with a torch lit.

We are doing really well dealing with the TWE. DS looks more relaxed than I have seen him in a long time! We are all very anxious to get to Disney. He has grown up as a Disney kid. DH used to spend lots of time at NASA Kennedy so we would come along and do long weekends at Disney.

DS loves bad puns and jokes. The running joke has always been that if he didn't get an appointment and plans B-F fell through, he would go be a skipper on the Jungle Boat Cruise. Guess he is going to let them know he won't be needing that job lol!

We intend to have a fantastic last hurrah and make the most of the time we have left together. Family life will be changing in a big way soon!

Thanks for still wanting me here! Prayers to all still on the journey and dealing with the grief of a TWE.
 
Received a TWE in the mail today. Saddening, but not devastating. I knew USNA was a long shot for me, and am truthfully surprised I made it this far. I thought it would be fitting to hang the letter next to my bed. Every morning I'll take a good long look at it, and remind myself how far I got and how much harder I need to work. Hey, "Class of 2020" has a nice ring to it!

Best of luck to everyone still in the game! Regardless of what happens, keep up the good work and remember that USNA isn't the ultimate goal.
 
DS is still cautiously waiting here in Massachusetts. The walk to the mailbox was incredibly frightening today with all the TWE activity yesterday. He can check on his 2nd choice on Tuesday @ 5pm so I am just praying the ugly TWE does not also appear on Tuesday for a possible double whammy!!!! He has heard "yes" from his "bottom 4", so it's always nice to have options but he's nervously waiting for #1,#2 and #3. Yikes! I have to go and color my hair now…the gray hairs have come in really hard this week!!!
 
We are still on the Island in South Georgia. I dreaded checking the mail today but was actually thankful to see only junk mail.

In Georgia as well. BGO hasn't heard much for any of his candidates. Is this a Georgia thing?

Our MOC/Massachusetts said they had not heard anything yet either and I assumed he said that to avoid having to give my DS the bad news himself. I find it incredibly hard to believe that all MOC's haven't heard anything yet…but maybe that is truly why some of us are still waiting.
