Camera to CCBT?

For past graduates and current cadets, should I bring my very expensive camera to CCBT? Is there anywhere I can store it during the time we'll be out in the field? As well, if not could I order it to the Academy or are cadet not allowed to receive big packages all year. Thanks

I didn't attend CCBT but I presume CBT is the same. Definitely have it shipped later or brought up by a family member later. There may be a place to put it but I wouldn't bet on that with camera gear.

During the academic year you will have a secure place to store valuables.

Don't bring valuables to summer training that you won't need during that time. As a practical matter, you don't want to carry any more than you have to.

Also, summer barracks are transitory and present greater opportunity to lose things in all the confusion of moving in and then moving out when transitioning to academic year barracks.

There will be a photographer there taking plenty of pictures. Mom and Dad will have many opportunities to play "Where's Waldo" on the web/
