Can I ask everyone to say a prayer for a passed friend?

A good friend of mine from marching band, Jurdrice Munbrun, died this past weekend, If any of you do not mind can you say a prayer for her and her family. Even though they can't hear it I'm sure it will mean alot to them and to the members of our band. Thank You all very much in advance. R.I.P Jurdrice.
