I had a chance to review my file late last week with the CO of a local battalion. Everything has been received and my file is slated to go before the October board. The only problem is that the have an old transcript in the system which does not show my final junior year grades and my senior year courses. My school sent an updated transcript but apparently it was never put in the system.

Here is my dilema - I could scan and email an updated transcript now but I dont want to mess anything up and have them remove me from the October board for submitting late documents. They took an unofficial transcript last time so I don't think it will be a problem if it comes directly from me.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

This is just my guess, but I would expect you to be reboarded anyway as they should want to see your final junior year grades before making a decision. I would anyway. So my recommendation would be to move heaven and earth to get the latest transcript to them. I don't know if this will prevent your application from going before the board, perhaps not since it would appear to be a simple "swap". In any case, I expect you'll need to do it anyway, so better now than later.

Keep in mind this advice is worth what you paid for it.

If I were you, I would ask the CO of your local Battalion you spoke with for a working email and phone number into Ft. Knox. Phone preferred... speak with a live person at Cadet Command and then scan/email + fax your current transcript to this person who will (hopefully) put your updated transcript into your folder.

Don't know if they will accept it this way, but its worth a shot. Otherwise you have your school resend it and then wait for the January Board.
