My ROTC Colonel gave me the DoDMERB and told me just to go to the hospital on base (I live on an army base) and just get it done and give it to them when they ask. Has anyone done this?

I have never heard about that, and since you say you live on base, is this a JROTC or ROTC commander.

I know for our DS when he went through the process for AFA, did it on base, he gave the forms to them, but they do not hand them back to you once completed. The docs fax them directly to DoDMERB. You never see them again, thus you can't just submit it when they ask for them since you don't have any papers to submit. If that is still the case, I would be concerned because you might be floating in the black hole of paperwork since it appears no source has requested the exam yet. Hence, where would DoDMERB store the results because you aren't in their system?

I could be wrong, but I would contact your ALO/BGO/MALO, to find out if this is something you should do.
