Quick question about the CFA.
My scores are 65 basketball throw, shuttle run will do better than average, have a chance to max push-ups and sit-ups, will max the mile, but pull-ups I am very worried about. I have been practicing but I just can not seem to do very well. Lets say that I get 6(on a good day, hopefully adrenaline and coming down 5000ft in altitude will somehow help me), will this make me fail the CFA? If you fail or do not pass one section does that mean that you fail or do not pass the entire CFA? I am very worried becasue I know you can take it again but I am not sure that they will allow me to do so. Also I have heard that at SLS your CFA goes into your eveluation. Any feedback is appreciated:thumb:

Work on your lats, since that's what the pullups primarily target. Remember to breath with going up and down, and you MUST keep your entire body relaxed it you want to be able to do more, with exception to the abdominal muscles, which should be tensed.

Personally, I am very light, 125lbs and can max out on the pullups. So if it's weight hindering you, it may help to drop a few pounds (within a healthy range of course).

I know that 6 is not failing for pull-ups. It's not a good score, but it's not failing.
Source: SLS last year, a friend did less than 6 and did not get "at risk" (which is USMA speak for fail)

Also, YES, if you fail one part of the CFA the whole CFA is a failure. However, none of your scores make me think failure.

Will the SLSers find out if they passed or failed the CFA immediately after taking it?

Last year we were given a sheet with our scores by the end of the week. They said whether you were "at risk" with your scores or not. If you get no risk, you don't have to take the test again.

My basketball was 61, pullups were 7, maxed pushups, 75 situps, 9.0 shuttle run, and 7:52 mile. I passed. (Yeah my mile is horrriiiblleee)

So you've got nothing to worry about.

Dude, you can max out pushups and situps. You will do fine. I was average for most and above average for only one event. You will pass easy. Just make sure you make it to the trash can after the mile run.
