I just wanted to make sure as I don't want to assume anything. My first CFA is due the same date as my candidate kit correct?

If you want to be sure and don’t want to assume anything, then go directly to the primary source: USAFA admissions. NOT to a bunch of anonymous posters in an online forum, whose knowledge ranges from highly informed to fairly clueless.

This is sort of my last resort as I have already tried contacting them on the matter. They have not responded. Thank you either way.

I’ve witnessed two kids apply to multiple SAs, including USAFA. I’m positive that USAFA does NOT leave its applicants guessing. The information is there somewhere in plain sight — on the website, in the portal, in emails, somewhere! I quickly perused the USAFA website and found three different phone numbers that candidates are encouraged to call. Have you tried any of them, more than once?

I say this with respect: As a prospective cadet and commissioned officer, you must dig for it with attention to detail.

Thank you again for helping me in this process! I really appreciate it.

I had called the admission office for my respective team and it always led to voicemail as the people on the team are all working from home. I left a voicemail just in case they receive it. The only email I have received from the academy was to remind me about my ALO evaluation. My information to candidate packet states that I must complete my CFA according to my specific deadline for my application. This has lead me to believe that my CFA is due the same date as my candidate kit. I have not be assigned any due dates except for the one for my candidate kit.

Yes, it is correct. My DD had emailed USAFA admission and they said it must be submitted by the date shown on the Candidate Kits Due date. However, my DD's date was 11/30 but after 11/30 the date suddenly changed to 1/30. I don't know why but her PE teacher submitted the first try out of the CFA result on the last day (11/30) but the portal shows that has not been received yet. I'm confused.

You should have received an email in late October about due dates for the items in your kit. The email is titled "USAFA Application Checklist Deadlines". If you can't find the email, either the system is backed up or there is a problem. Additional information will be in the Instructions to Candidates booklet. Good luck to you!

My DS did it before November 1st, that is what his admission portal showed.

I have been seeing this email referenced a lot on these forums. I have never received it however. The only one I received was about my ALO. I will contact my admission team about it. Thank you!

We were given this by USAFA Admissions:
Refer to your "Instructions to Candidates", page 6, for further information on deadlines and requirements.

I wanted to get a screenshot of Page 6 but it's not on DS' portal anymore. The Instructions to Candidates, I mean.

Thank you. We should add the reading of Page 15, after Page 6. It also describes "deadlines" related to CFA and when your file will be closed.

We also got confused by this. Just glad DS is done and thankful he got a green check. He didn't feel ready on the day he tested but was forced to because of the deadline given to him.
