Here are some other tips: take the test on a cool day, ask a friend to be there to help with your sit ups and motivate you, get a ton of sleep the night before, stay hydrated the day before, don't eat a big breakfast, bring water to your exam, wear light material of clothing, take every second of your break to rest and regain your breath, wear a watch while running the mile to pace yourself, and sprint the last 200m of the mile like hell.
