I recently took the CFA (female) and my scores are posted below. I have received an LOA and nomination. I am struggling with the pullup but I plan to put in max effort to get one and redo the test. What are the chances of passing the CFA if i maintained my current results other than the pullup?
pullup: 0
situps: 67
push-ups: 35
shuttle: 9.2
bb throw: 45’
mile: 7min31sec

Females also have the option to do the flexed arm hang. If you are struggling that much on pull-ups maybe consider that as an option?

I have but for around 10ish seconds only, I actually believe that fah may be much harder effort-wise than completing one pullup?

Here you go, straight from the official source: averages, by gender, for USMA. Now you can draw your own conclusions.

Note that one pull-up is worth more than FAHing until the cows come home. Work it, work it, work it! Dedicated workouts, with good variety, that develop all relevant muscles can get you to one pull-up!

Even if you win offer of appointment with a 10-second FAH, you’ll need to be much better to not only survive plebe summer, but to excel and win your classmates’ respect and confidence.

If you are specifically training on pull-ups, purchase a few pull-up assist bands. They come in different tensions/strengths. While you are hanging on the bar, the band will assist you in pulling up while you concentrate on your form. You can gradually work your way up to less band assistance. My son used the bands when he first taught himself to do pull-ups and it made a big difference.
