So, someone has probably already asked this, but how many times can I take the CFA? Can I take it more than once if I am successful the first time or only take it multiple times if I failed the first time?
Thanks in Advance!!

Yes, this question has been asked and answered. But I will bite.

You can take the exam as many times as you can have a proctor monitor the exam.

You can take the exam with a friend monitoring and scoring you indefinitely.

I caught many a basketball throw while our DS prepared for his scored test. Your friends, parent or coach can do the same.

A cold frosty beverage at the end of said summer southwest basketball retriever episode is appreciated by the proctor, noted for a friend.

Before your person submits your official scores, email them to your admission contact. Ask if they are sufficient. For our son he was told, “all is excellent get the mile under 6:30”. He did that and then had his proctor formally submit.

Each SA has different rules Re number of submissions and do overs. Consult directly with admission staff. Period. No matter what anecdotal info you receive here.

And to clarify I am saying you can take the CFA as often as you want. The critical question is how many submissions can you have. And that is between you and admissions only.

I never even thought of that. DS didnt even know, use, email, etc anything with admissions contact even though it almost bit him a couple times. That is one of those "do-overs" we probably would have changed. That and having him work on the CFA before January's bitter deadline.

One good thing from DD’s perspective that once she submitted her score, she sent an email of she passed or not and that if resubmitting would help her. Oh boy! She is glad that she asked.

I am not saying you should ask, but just sharing her experience.
