Will USMA send me a report after my score is uploaded? How long does that usually take?

I didn't do nearly as well as I wanted, there's still time but I'd prefer not to have to do it again.

You should see green check marks next to “CFA” in your candidate portal once they have scored and reviewed your videos.

Really? I uploaded them a second ago and got a green check...

Hey, I'll take it :)

For the videos, my RC has said that she will send people an email asking them to re-do the videos if they are not good enough.

You will not get a score. You will know it’s been graded when you see “score on file” with a date in the CFA box of the portal. It will take time to be graded.

So, this is a busy time of year in Admissions. Things will start happening quickly for them, with weekly admissions board meetings. Things won't be happening quickly for applicants--prepare for a whole lot of nothing between now and mid-April and you won't be disappointed. There may be a big wave...next week and then people will start slowly trickling into the Appointment Offer thread.
Congrats on submitting the CFA.

Do you know if 7th-semester transcripts need to be submitted before a candidate can be considered for an appointment? It seems like it would be an unfair advantage for those who receive their transcripts weeks earlier than others (who may be more qualified) to be offered an appointment sooner just because their school got their transcripts out first.

YES! They are required!! Mine come out super late in January so I’m praying that they get sent in time. You need a nomination and a 7th semester transcript for your file to go to the admissions review.

My understanding is that that candidates can indeed be appointed before submitting 7th semester grades. I assume the admissions committee has already reviewed and qualified the people in the upcoming JAN wave. These will mostly be kids with LOA, Principal Nomination, Prep, or recruited athletes cuz they kinda have to be appointed anyways.

I also assume if you do not fall into one of those categories, admissions may wait until they have your 7th sem. before reviewing and deciding. But that's just my idea, which I don't got evidence for.

My son's CFA results were uploaded by his Phys Ed teacher on October 25th and my son uploaded his videos for pull-ups and push-ups on October 26th. As soon as those things uploaded he received green check marks for each of those three items. We thought that meant everything was accepted and good. But, then on December 11th at the very top of the CFA portal box it said his score was on file officially as of that date. The first line of that section of his application reads like this:

Candidate Fitness Assessment (CFA) score on file (December 11, 2019)

Does your portal have today's date saying "score on file"? If so, you are probably good to think your scores have been reviewed and accepted. If not, and you just have "uploaded" with today's date and green check marks next to CFA, pull-up and pushup videos then you likely still need to have scores and videos reviewed.

Wondering the same thing on my end.
My school is on a trimester system and after discussing it with my RC, I found out that I would need my first and second trimester transcripts to validate my 7th semester transcript request. Given that the second trimester does not end until mid-March, I cannot do anything but wait until the second trimester is over to send them in.
But as one of my coaches always said, “control what you can control.”

So, it is two fold. Your 7th semester transcripts must be submitted-because they are required.
However, if Admissions feels that they have what they need right now to make a decision, they will make that decision.
How do we know this? Applicants received offers of admission in the Fall (few offers, but these applicants would not have had 7th semester transcripts).

EDITED: SO NO STRESSING THAT YOU WON"T GET IN BECAUSE YOUR SCHOOL DOES NOT SEND 7th SEMESTER TRANSCRIPTS UNTIL MID-FEBRUARY. OK? OK? Everyone...breath. Marathon. This is a long game. Keep going. Don't worry about what is beyond your control.

Screen Shot 2020-01-09 at 7.29.37 AM.pngalright here's what mine looks like. Does this mean they scored my scored and reviewed it.

You will get an email if you have to re-shoot your videos or if they want you to re-take the test.

My FFR told me on New Years that my file was reviewed and qualified. I know it's hard to tell, but from your past experience (whoever answers this), are a lot of people qualified this early or mostly just people that will be in the January wave?

I like what my dad has told me several times throughout my entire application process. "Remain cautiously optimistic."

Sagrio, there is no norm. You cannot game it. Just focus on your own application. If you are done, and your boxes are green--you are good. Keep working out!
