CFA Results

Agreed on the videos.

Pull yourself up. Let yourself down slowly.

Push-up until you can’t push-up anymore. Get on your knees. Do it again.

Situp until you can’t feel your abdomen and it hurts to laugh or sigh.

I was throwing barely 50 until I started practicing this. A month later on my assessment I threw over 70. It really does help

If your BB throw passes, do not sweat the rest. In the big picture, the CFA is a pass/fail event as long as you did your best. Sure you may retake and get a point or two more, but it is only weighted 15% in the entire WCS calculation. So how much is 10 or 15 more points really worth.

If you have done your best, then focus your energy on something that will have a bigger impact.

This late in the process, there is not much you could do anyway. The cake is already in the oven.

Thank you to everyone for your advice. I'm hoping for the best, but I understand my chances.

USMA 1994: Does the BB throw have more weight in the CFA than other exercises. Also do you know what is a passing score if only maximums and averages are posted?

It is my understanding that no one (except admissions) really knows a passing score. Get around or above the average and you should be okay. As far as weight in CFA I assume admissions would only know that as well. That being said do not try to just reach the minimum. Goodluck!

I do not think that the events are weighted but you have to meet the minimums in each part of the test to pass. Minimums are not released to anyone except the admission's team. The FFRs do not know the minimums.
