I took my cfa last week and I was wondering if they looked like they should pass or I should retake them... I have a letter of assurance and I have a nomination. All that's left is my CFA

basketball throw: 40 feet
flexed arm hang: 25 seconds
shuttle run: 9.6 seconds
sit-ups: 95 (max)
push-ups: 50 (max)
mile: 7 minutes 10 seconds

The only thing that you might need to improve on is flexed arm hang. If you can manage to do a pullup, one pullup is worth more than the max for flexed arm hang. That being said, I'm not sure where you would be on the scale for flexed arm hang. If you "passed" it then you wouldn't need to retake the cfa, especially with an LOA.

You did awesome, girl. I had much lower scores than you the first time I took it over the summer, and I passed. I had under 10 seconds with the flexed arm hang, so I wouldn't worry. Hope to see you on I-Day! Congratulations to you and your family.

Thanks for the advice I was worried about the arm hang. My goal is to have at least five pull ups before I go to the academy. Does anyone know the minimum or average for the arm hang??

Averages from a few years ago are posted on the sticky above that relates to admissions. Whether they are still valid today is an open question.

My Plebe daughter had about the same scores - a ways farther in the BB throw but a little slower in the run. But, she was able to do a pull up or two. Keep practicing them and you'll succeed (although I doubt you really need to with a LOA and Nom.)

I've received an offer and I did an arm hang - I don't remember how long it was for, maybe like 40 seconds? I'm practicing pull-ups though, because it won't hurt for Plebe Summer! I had a slower mile but more pushups so I would say we're about the same? You MUST have passed, don't worry!
