Hi all,
I currently have an LOA for USMA and am almost completely qualified (DoDMERB cleared, nomination apps submitted), and my hard deadline is October 15th. Here is what I have so far:

Basketball Throw: 63 ft
Pull-ups: 9
Shuttle Run: 8.1
Sit-ups: 67
Push-Ups: 51
1-Mile Run: 7:43

I submitted these scores already to West Point, but just wanted to gauge if these would be in the range to pass of if I should go ahead and retake it to better my chances with the deadline coming up soon. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure anyone here can give you a definitive answer, but those look good to me. You didn't crush it, but those should pass and satisfy your LOA.

You scored better than my son except the mile- he passed with the below scores. I don't know what the mile cutoff is - that would be the hangup for you if anything.
Basketball Throw: 55 ft
Pull-ups: 9
Shuttle Run: 8.7
Sit-ups: 58
Push-Ups: 42
1-Mile Run: 5:36

Your scores are almost identical to mine except for a few events I scored a little higher. My FF Rep seemed pretty satisfied with my results as being passing so take that info as you seem fit. Then again, there is always doubt surrounding the actual minimum scores.

I 'agree' as your CFA results appear to be passing scores. However, I recommend continuing to work on your fitness. I tell all of my students that the CFA is a 'beginning' not an end. You should commit to your 'best fitness' as a military officer candidate. Your workout routines should be 'routine' and continue throughout the school year and summer as you prepare to arrive at the Academy, or on the college campus, ready to meet the fitness requirements for either program, USMA or AROTC.
