I should double reply this as I realised that score calculator is WAY off.

78' BB Throw
13 Pullups
8.3 Shuttle
70 Pushups
90 Situps
7:19 Mile

I know I passed, but that CFA calculator that of course isn't free anymore says it is out of 700 or something which doesn't make sense to me. I know CFA doesn't really matter but just curious, thanks yall.

Let’s get a couple misconceptions out of the way.

First, that the online calculator is accurate and bears any resemblance to what actually happens within USNA’s admissions office.

Second, that the CFA doesn’t matter. It most definitely matters.

Take a look at this official document from USMA. Different SA, but the averages can’t be far off for USNA. Draw your own conclusions.

I understand the calculator is not very accurate, that's why I am asking.
I understand the CFA is important, but it is relatively is less important than other things, call it important-ish.

Only the good people in USNA admissions know the points schedule for CFA.

This is what your first post said. Not consistent with your second post. CFA counts for 10%.

It’s one of the three legs of the stool. Without a solid CFA, the stool tips over.

Do your absolute BEST. It’s honestly all one CAN do!!

Just a quick, kind of related question, let's say for example I do 25 pullups, even though the max is 18, is it still recorded as 25? I'm guessing that no further points are awarded after 18, but I'm just wondering how it is written down.

Don't do 25. When you get to 18 stop and give yourself more rest time for the next event. Doing more than the max is a waste of energy and time since they won’t be counted. Know the max for each event and stop when it is reached.

Just to clarify, the qualified score listed here is actually from the USNA portal. So the OP question is essentially what is the range of qualified scores?

Yes, minimum qualifying to maximum qualifying.

That is something that I didn't think about, so I'm glad I asked. Now that I think about it, you're right, it makes no sense to waste the energy. Thank you!
