CFA videos

Hello,

I've recently took a CFA video very recently after my actual CFA (I was so nervous that day that all I could think of was literally just doing well on the CFA :( and totally missed out about taking the video).

However, on the actual CFA, I did 11 pull-ups, but when I took a video on it, I ended up doing 10 pull-ups.. I don't know if I should keep recording until I do 11 reps (just like what I did on the actual CFA).

Will this be a problem? Will USMA just take the whichever score had been shown on the video? And also, should I don't reach 11 reps in the video, will I be required to re-record?

P.S. I'm going to make a final attempts this week to see if I can get 11 pull-ups. (In the video, I could've gotten 11 pull-ups if I would've had pulled up my body just a tad bit higher). Also, this isn't USMA related, but will my pull-up reps be affected if I do pull-ups everyday (I'm intending to record until I get 11)

I was so close to getting 11 just like I did on the actual CFA test, because if I were to pull up my body more just by an inch or so in the video, I could've gotten 11.

Thank you!

I've actually decided to just record it again this week (I feel like since I was like 1 inch away from getting 11 (just like I did on the actual CFA)), I might as well just do it again this week.

10-11 pull-ups is an amazing score in my opinion, it’s far above the average. I don’t think whether you’re accepted or not will come down to if you can do 10 or 11, or if on paper you did 11 but on the video you did 10.

If I were you, I’d just focus on completing the rest of the application as soon as possible if you didn’t already and tell the admissions officer about the small difference from paper to video.

Again, very good score. Don’t worry about a variation so small. I’m sure USMA categorizes 10 or 11 pull-ups in the same genre. Best to luck on your appointment!

+1 to @Yankee23. Just do as many pull-ups as you can, using the strictest form that you can, and let USMA figure out the final count. That’s what the video is for. Best wishes.

CFA videos are literally my last step of my application and I will be 100% completed with the app if I submit the videos...

I'm just really afraid about submitting the video... (Just a little worry that USMA might not think me as truthful :( )

I'm not sure how submitting the video AFTER you've done the CFA is fair to the candidates that had to submit a video while doing all exercises in sequence.
