My CFA for USAFA is due November 1st
I went to NASS and I didn’t pass there, so I’m retaking it Thursday. I just took it today, as well, and my scores are as follows:

BB Throw: 32 ft
Flexed Arm Hang: 28 s
Shuttle Run: 9.4 s
Sit-Ups: 95
Push-Ups: 50
Mile Run: 9:07

I’ve been training for months and still have poor mile flexed arm hang times, but I maxed out pushups and pull-ups.
Everything I’ve read on here has just freaked me out about not being able to do a pull-up. I know it doesn’t look phenomenal, but can sit-ups and push-ups (both maxed out) make up for any of that?

According to the USAFA website, your basketball throw, flexed arm hang and mike are all under “goal” (their word) for women. Don’t know if your push-ups and sit-ups will adequately compensate, because as it is, the flexed arm hang is an accommodation made for those who can’t do a pull-up, and because a 9:07 mike translates to at least 10:00 at high elevation (presuming you recorded your time at sea level). The mile time is a big deal that other exercises likely can’t compensate for, especially since you’ll be doing a lot of running at 7,000 feet.

Do your best and hope for the best. My non-athlete DD got an LOA with BBall 42, flex hang 26, SR 9.4, sits 92, push 42, mile 7:24. So, yes you can get in without a pullup. I've been told there are MANY female cadets who can't do a pull-up. You've also read in many posts that they are looking for the entire package. Do your best. Run faster 'til you puke. And best of luck to you.
