Ik I'm doing another chance me post, but I have updated my application and now I'm taking Wheaton College over Marion Military in priority. (I checked off "no" for ECP on the portal and took it out of my schools of intent)

SGA Cabinet Member, Class President, SGA Representative, Boys State (Assemblyman, 3rd highest office acquired, NJ), Military PT Club founder/Platoon Leader, TaeKwonDo Master's Assistant, Church Basketball team coach/founder, Small Group leader and Activity Coordinator at Church

Academic: 3.78 Weighted GPA, 3.6 Unweighted GPA, 26 ACT, National English Honor Society, Chinese National Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society

PT: 64 Pushups in 1 min, 49 situps in 1 min, 6:45 mile (May retake if I don't get offer 2nd board)

Community Service: 600+ hours with Church
I also had a great PMS interview and got into my top ROTC school (Wheaton College)

Here's the official Army criteria:

Of course, you'll probably need considerably better than these minimum criteria.

Which, it appears, you have.

Good leadership qualities, i.e. Boys State is definitely a plus. Class leadership positions are good too. Sports are good. Academics are good, bordering on excellent.

You have no chance at all if you don't apply, so put in your package today.

Good luck!

What made you change your mind about ECP?

I am thinking that regular ROTC will develop me better
ROTC will have something to do with it. You will have far more to do to develop yourself. You will get out of ROTC what you put into it. From watching the forums I know you will give it your all. Academics first!
