Remember folks: it's not always what you think it is at an SA.

I think jebdad was discussing diversity in the traditional sense. I don't think USAFA is going to roll out the red carpet and pay for a visit because someone is a home-schooler (albeit from a technical standpoint, numerous attributes define a diverse background including homeschooling).

Maybe not now, MN-Dad, because there are more of them, but "traditionally" (such an ironic term here), homeschoolers are "diversity" students, and USAFA has indeed rolled out the red carpet and paid for visits. I speak from experience.

I'm a junior and lived the majority of my life out of the U.S. My GPA is 3.792; haven't taken neither SAT nor ACT yet. I was wondering what would be a decent combined SAT score for me to get in the USAFA. I can read, write, and speak other languages as well doing AFJROTC. How is my chance to get in?

I think it was a simple misunderstanding fueled by the negative connotation of the word 'hijack'. I thought your original comment was appropriate.
