Hi, I'm currently a candidate for the USNA Class of 2021 and if someone wouldn't mind I would like to see if I have a chance of getting an appointment with my current stats. I welcome your opinion.
MCJROTC-Platoon commander and a member for three years, competed in competitions in the past three years where we placed first. Member of color guard and honor guard.
Sports- Not in any but I am a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo and competed in UCF Iron Knights as a team leader (5.6 mile course with about 15 obstacles with a four man team and a 24-lb pack). Also competed in physical competitions for MCJROTC and have won first place multiple times.
Vice President of Spanish National Honor Society- We volunteer at a local retirement home with the Spanish speaking elderly.
Volunteered at my local hospital throughout my junior year, I also volunteer in Spanish and Math.
Currently in IB with a 3.79 Unweighted and a 4.33 Weighted GPA, have taken four AP classes as well.
1210 SAT but I retook my SAT yet and I expect my scores to improve, what SAT score range would be considered "good?"
For my CFA I did a 52 foot basketball throw (I didn't practice), 70 Push-ups, 95 sit-ups, 12 pull-ups, and a 7:05 mile run.
I am a Florida resident and I have a JROTC nomination and I am waiting for a response from my local representative and Senator Rubio. I only need to complete my medical exam and my application is complete.
