I am an army ROTC senior who just underwent accessions. I received Active Duty.

For personal reasons I decided that I really need to change to reserve duty. I heard that there was in fact a process for this.

If anyone has any information on this it would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

What did your PMS say when you asked her/him? And, why did you wait this late in the accessions process to change your mind? It wouldn't have been because you didn't get the branch you wanted, would it??

Ditto. Why didn't you fix this with HR at the beginning of the year before the cut-off date? It would have been rather simple to go into the computer and select reserve force duty. From there you get a letter of acceptance from a unit and everything is set. Now that you have assessed I have no clue how you would go about it. I would talk to HR and your PMS to see what options you have.
