Please help...DD is candidate for USNA 2019. She is a competitive candidate (per BGO) with nomination from MOC in very competitive region. Unfortunately poor kid had a very minor case of psoriasis 5-6 yrs ago. As a result she rec'd initial DQ letter from DoDMERB. We submitted letter from dermatologist stating how minor case was and that it was in check without medication. We were waiting to hear anything about medical waiver and no communications thus far. My DD was just checking her DoDMERB Applicant site and noticed her case was reviewed on 1/6 and "Current Medical Status" now reads "Medical Waiver Denied". Is this the worst case scenario we've been fearing? Is she now done? Any insight would be appreciated. As you can imagine, this has the whole family about wound up- breaks the heart to think DD's dreams and hard work will die b/c of this seemingly minor conditions (truly minor in her case- not my words, but those of the dermatologist).
