Exact same scenario for me!
 
So since they are now notifying those who applied EA, I don't think that's a good sign for those who applied RA and haven't heard yet. Don't they approve those who were deferred after they accept all of the RA applicants?

DD received a call with news of conditional appointment on Thursday evening. RA submitted mid January, so keep hope alive!

I believe that offers are made to deferred EA applicants after the pool of RA applicants has been reviewed. But that doesn't mean that no RA offers are forthcoming.

Yes, that was Thursday. And Friday EA applicants were being given appointments. Doesn't make sense to offer the EA applicants a spot if they were still reviewing those who applied RA.
 
Does anyone know if they release prep school appointments on the last day along with all the rejections? There don’t appear to be any RA applicants (at least on this forum) appointed to prep yet

If RA is like EA, prep, rejection, and CGA appointments may all be released close to the last day. Looking back on this thread, my DD got the call about prep school on 12/21. On that same day, others posted about getting rejection letters in their portal, deferrals, or calls from AO (or coach) about prep and academy appointments. The deadline for EA decisions was 12/23.

It took about four days for the deferred to change to accepted post phone call sit tight and congrats!

My son was deferred but got his full appointment in Feb there were other EA but deferred kids at the AEP we went to in Mid March so keep hope up!
 
The wait is almost over everyone, I just got a called today that I got selected for USCGAS! I am prior enlisted Air Force and super excited!

I got a prep appointment on the 21st of March
 
Will all AOs call to inform the decisions especially for an appointment, or just depending on each AO? Not seeing it from other SAs?

I only received a prep appointment and still got a call from my AO, so i would guess that all appointments would get a call. However, I know they are behind because I received an email inviting me to the Academy Experience Program for appointees the day before my call.
 
For those still waiting, what are we thinking is coming down the pipe tomorrow? Prep schools, turn downs and waitlists? Are there normally still appointments handed out in the first? Just curious as to what everyone’s thoughts are! ( and semi-relieved to be almost done with the waiting…at least for now 😉)
