Just received a call from my daughter's MALO. She has received her acceptance to WEST POINT!
Recruited Athlete Swimming FL-13th congressial district, Congressional Nomination and JROTC Nomination.

Finally!

I got a phone call on Tuesday from my district coordinator, and today my appointment showed up on the portal!!! WHOAA!! :yllol:

I just got a letter informing me that I received a nomination from my Senator :D Now to just get that medical cleared up and I'm on my way (hopefully....)

Letter was dated 8 December.

I had an LOA and my representative's nomination.

My son received his appointment in the mail today, Congressional Nomination - NY20, post marked Dec. 8th. He's very excited and we're so proud! Congratulations to freedomtruck (NY20) and all of the appointees!!

Does anyone know when the Admission committee breaks for the holiday season? I am curious because I received an LOA in July and just received a MOC nomination posted 12/12 and I was wondering when I could expect to hear something about an appointment. LA-01
 
@Unreal. You're in the same boat I was in. Got my LOA in July, and MOC nomination in December. Even though my appointment was dated two days after my nomination was posted to USMA, I got it in the mail five days later. And I live in New York.

Just be patient :)
 
Were you able to see your appointment on the candidate portal before you received the appointment in the mail?

My portal updated with an offer of appointment about 2 days after I received my nomination. I received the letter in the mail 2 days after it appeared on the portal.

Offers of appointment appear right under the nominations box on the overview page of the portal. It's hard to miss if you scroll down past all the green check marks.
