Class of 2015 Group Page

I can't help but notice that there isn't a single asian in that group...yet :p

I hope thats a good sign for me then (Asian) >< lol
 
I know for you kids that this is a way of bonding, BUT BEWARE. Start posting and say something stupid and you are asking for a world of pain come BCT.

I can't find the youtube video, but @ 3 yrs ago, a FB poster felt that pain and it was posted on youtube.

Want to join this go for it, just realize that AFA cadets endured the pain of BCT and now it is time to teach you from their own mistakes.

The goal of BCT is to fly under the radar. You don't want to enter with a face attached to a name on day one and a picture of the 35 boasting this is your next plane.

I've seen some pretty dumb pre-Academy speculation, but this thread was downright terrible. The worst part was that it wasn't just one kid, like it usually is. A whole group of future basics chimed in with their assurance that '09, '10, and '11 would bring it weak and that '12 would breeze through the easiest basic ever. The thread has since been deleted, but the damage is done. Mr. Duane Hartwin will not have an enjoyable BCT experience this summer.

one of our preppie priors sent out an email saying he got an email from a cadet saying that they are taking names down off of this facebook group and are asking everybody to just leave any group identifying themselves with the class of 2012

The group commander for BCT has taken names (and will continue to) of kids who make disrespectful comments. they will begin to be taught their lesson fairly quickly on I-day. i kind of wish i was going to be here to see it. bring popcorn, it's going to be a show!

It goes on and on. I am not saying any of you will be as dumb as the class of 12 FB, just saying watch what you write. FB is not as private as you may believe. Just like this site.
 
I completely agree. Already there are several upperclassman group members that will make our lives miserable if stuff like that goes on. So far it's been pretty neutral with congratulations and telling where we're from and such.

So far, the group has been very respectful and no "showboating" has been posted/shown. So with that said, it would be "okay", if the site is only being used for networking right?

Thus far the topics are about where we're from, FAQs, and videos! :biggrin:
 
It is great for networking. Just becareful of what you write, i.e. showboating. Sometimes that takes on a mob mentality.
