Haha just livin' the dream, of course.

As for the attitude, we'll have to see how it holds up if I get a TWE...:wink: but yeah, the whole college process has been very exciting/humbling/LONG, and I'm just ready for it to end, if that makes sense.

DS as well......our spring break is in two weeks and he is sooooooooo living for it!

That's ridic late! But better than being on break now, in freezing Chicago, with nothing to do but calc review packets and stalk the cr*p out of the poor mailman... I think at the end of this I owe him a Starbucks gift card or something hah

Checked mailbox in the morning and evening - nothing today.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring good news...
 
SMNE. I don't believe in omens but it is weird that DS' plan B school runs an ad on this website.

New Day - Same Result. No BFE, no TWE. Although I caught my mailman at the neighbor's house, and walked over there to save him the effort of driving to my house. I asked if there were something big in there, and he said "Not Today". I got my meager assortment of bills/junk mail, and I said "Please bring me something good tomorrow!" He said okay. From God's Ears to my mailman's truck. Reporting from Texas.
 
Congrats Marciemi and to DS#2! I love the pic of the same mail lady as with DS#1. Just think this summer she will be bringing you those anticipated letters from BCT!
 
CONGRATS MARCIEMI--decisions decisions! :biggrin:

REPORTING FROM SOUTHERN OHIO: BFE arrived today to VVCFF :thumb:--she never got a call from Representative, and that was her only nom, so don't feel like its a bad sign if you haven't had a MOC phone call!
 
Congrats to your friend Falconchic! That is good news, as we have not heard from MOC either.

I checked the mail at 1pm...2pm...3pm...4pm...(mail is usually here around 2:30)

Finally....mail arrived at 4:45pm....with a B F E :biggrin:

Now it feels official....can't wait for DD to get home from practice to open it!
 
LOVE the photo of the mail lady! Too funny! Think of the stories she gets to tell everyone back at the post office.

Sorry for everyones TWE's....DS got the mail and nothing was in it but another college still asking him to come...... Can't take the pressure anymore....too hard on us old parents!

Anyone from NJ get a BFE or TWE recently? My therory is that the mail hasn't reached NJ yet....

Wow!! Great news!!! How can you even stand to wait? I would be up at the practice running, tripping, falling, screaming!! So happy for you! :groupwave:
 
SMNE. Drat! Last week during Spring Break I barely thought about it, but today I was a "little" tense :eek3: knowing that SOMETHING was coming, then.......nothing came. Well, no news is good news. Good luck to all!
 
Appointment Status

Reporting in from Northwestern Florida.

Nothing in the mail from the USAFA. But congrats to everyone with a BFE! And for those with a TWE, remember you've still got Falcon/Prep possibilities!

I hate that someone from Florida got a BFE today. But oh well, maybe it has to do with last names or something!

I can't believe I didn't discover this site until just now! :thumbdown: Been stalking the mailman pretty regularly here in Virginia, and its getting brutal. I don't honestly even know what to expect. I'm 3 Q'd with an LOA, but without a nom. That being said, I would obviously be expecting a TWE before the week is out. However, I got a call two weeks ago from USAFA asking if I was still interested (to which I of course said "YES!") and that they were going to try and find me a nomination. Nothing in the mail today, but that wont stop the anxiety for tomorrow. Congrats to all who heard back in the affirmative, and stay strong to those who didn't! W3e should all be proud to have made it this far.
 
Well, we have bad news. My son emailed his admissions counselor asking for status update and was told his TWE would go out tomorrow, and even though he was fully qualified candidate, they could not offer appointment due to limited slots, and to pursue other college options and retry next year. We need to regroup and rethink. I am very sad and heading home. I hope folks have better news this week!
