Has anyone received an actual packet from USNA yet? I've been doing all of my stuff online, but I'm wondering when I will get Plebe Summer instructions etc. If no one else has gotten anything, then it must be coming closer to I-Day. Thanks!

I called and asked admissions about that and they said they are all mailed at once in April
 
I'll leave it someone else (a board monitor) if they believe these kids from Pennsylvania should be added to the list.

These girls received real Appointments and names are Publicly released (but not from a member):

I wouldn't do that - let each member post for themselves. There's already a couple from PA on the appointment list....could be duplicates. Plus, I doubt they want high school names on the list. Just sayin'.

1.) No names (Public or NOT) were listed by me,
2.) The (2) DD's are the first Appointments from PA-06.
3.) The (2) DD's are JUST the third and fourth publicly known Appointments from the entire State!
4.) Nope, they are clearly not duplicates
5.) We have 18 Districts in Penn, yet of 18, past history shows only about (4) PA MOC's ever actually release news of Nominations, let alone Appointment!
6.) Even the (2) PA Senators have not released names this year!

No matter, that's why I asked first, advocated later.....:director:

Thank you for this extremely helpful site! -Really honored that my first post is one acknowledging our daughter's USNA Appointment. The LOA arrived on her actual birthday & she cried tears of joy! Our neighbors were also enlightened of the event since she ran outside & screamed 'Thank you God' at the top of her lungs!
 
IMHO, a big bulk of Appointments are out and some will get posted here between tomorrow and Friday, March 13th.

After that most of the remaining Appointments will trickle out of the Pool in mid-March-to end of March..

You will see 3-4 in April posted, than 1-2 in May.

I hope I'm wrong, but after looking over the last 2 1/2 years of Class Appointment threads for 2018, 2019 and now 2020, that what I see.

Congrats to PA district 6 appointments, hardest district in PA! With Conestoga & Radnor high schools ranking #1 & #2 in PA! BTW: our Congressman use to publicly release names of students he nominated? But has not done so this year? Is there an issue releasing names publicly??

I am new to this process. My son is waiting for word on whether he has received an appointment. I am very anxious also wanting to know if he will be attending an SA or one of his backup plans. Would it be acceptable to contact the admissions counselor to see if his application has been reviewed? The status has shown complete pending review for a long time.
