Thank you for chiming in Mom. This brings up a great question. How many of those on this thread list are reapplicants? Percentage wise, I (and I am sure others) would be interested in knowing this. Currently, I am "guessing" that roughly 300 of the 2020 appointments are reapplicants in one form or another. They are either coming in through NAPS, the Foundation, or received some sort of TWE to the class of 2019. Anyone have a better guesstimate?
 
NAPS and foundation have not received their appointments yet. They get them last and not usually until very late April and through May. If some are on the bubble they may even wait until the semester is over before evaluating.

#51 was self-prep after 2015 rejection and was accepted on round 2.
Declined USNA appointment and will attend USMA.

If you received a TWE---------
PS-We are now HUGE fans of trying again and don't be afraid to self-prep! I know it is not considered the traditional "way to go" to get in to a SA on round 2...but it worked!!! :) Looking back at this past year, starting from the day he received the TWE from USNA to now, it has been the best year of my DS's life! It was tough at first, but he has grown in so many ways and we are now thankful for the 2015 TWE! He said he is happy that he has already learned to live away from home and he's academically and mentally more prepared than he was a year ago! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! :)

I agree completely! My DS was a round 2 and I believe is so much better prepared on so many levels than he would've been had he received an appointment last year! Not to mention mother here, it'll be a little easier on us with him being gone this last year at the University only a couple hours away, before he heads to Maryland.

A quick review for the last 30 days between March 16th and April 15th, show only (2) *real-time* Appointments on March 16th and only one *real-time* Appointment offer on April 4th !

Murf, there was an apponitment given and accepted this week in my hometown to a high school senior. This person is not on the forum, but it is another legitimate acceptance for sure.
 
I should clarify, when I look at the past:

On April 15th, 2012, the USNA Class of 2016 Appointment thread was at 87 Appointments , the last updated entry was at 87 Appointments on April 6th, 2012.
