Still can't figure why these people were in a sqare rigger even with engines off south of Hatteras with a major storm comming up their a**. They had to know it was out there and closing fast. Like no one told them! Put into any port along the coast and ride it out. CG did a great job as always and put their life in danger again for some stupid people. It was a beautiful ship and I saw it once in Newport. Sorry to see it went down through complete stupidity. And the "Libertad" is held in Ghana. Another tall ship down the drain.

I toured this one and it is one beautiful ship with a great Captain and crew also the "Cisne Branco" another great Tall Ship.

Thank Heaven The "Eagle" is still ours and hasn't been repossessed by the German Government as reperations we owe them for 11/11/1918 or 1945.
