College Applicant to WP 2022

Hello all,

I am currently attending the Virginia Military Institute on a 4 Year AROTC Scholarship, and am applying to USMA's Class of 2022. I was wondering how much of a factor my college GPA would play in my application. I currently have close to a 3.9, but was wondering if I should devote my time elsewhere. Any input? Thank you!

It's only the first semester that they're going to see for deciding your admission. Second semester your job is to keep your grades up and not lose the appointment if you get it.

Very important, but you can not ignore other areas - relevant activities, leadership roles, athletics. Hopefully you are taking rigorous courses such as - chemistry, physics, calculus, composition
