Is it worth it to take classes like "College Algebra" and "Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry" or should I just be taking a college course like Pre-Calc. I have the option to take all 3 together or I can just take Pre-Calc. I dont want to take "College Algebra" and "Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry" if it wont help me with admissions.

Got to ask, since when is pre-calc a college course? Definitely take it! And see if you can get calc in as well (obviously the year after). If you are a junior, think of taking pre-calc over the summer, and fitting calc in next year. Lots of the kids in calc 1 at USAFA have actually already had a year of calc in hs, and still find it very challenging.
I don't know your circumstances or anything, so please don't feel like I am asking the impossible or anything. But by us most people take at least pre-calc, if not calc in hs.

How much of the academy's calc course is not covered in a standard AP Calc AB and BC course? I've taken them both as a junior and really dunno what math to even take next year other than AP Stats, which isn't truly a math course, and AP Chem, which is rather dependent on math, although not as strict as I'd like.

Have you had trig and geometry? Stats is good, and algebra II is on the recommended list.

usafahopeful1 at University of Maryland College Park they offer Pre-Calc as a college class. It offers Pre-Calc as well as College Algebra and the class "trig and analytical geometry". I should have been clear, Im in college.

Im wondering if I should take all three courses this semester or if I should I just take Pre-Calculus by itself?

Would having "College Algebra" and "Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry" on my college transcript help with admissions at all?
