    Good evening all,

I've been an active guest on this website for the past several months while I worked through my application process for NROTC and I figured this is as good a time as ever to make a legitimate account. I'm a high school senior who has already been selected for the 4-year Navy Option scholarship, which I am currently working to transfer to the University of South Carolina (Hi Kinnem!) where I have just been accepted recently. The website has been absolutely vital to finding answers from people who have gone through the same stages as I am and I'm sure I'll continue to use it in the future as my questions become more specific.

I'm still somewhat undecided on what I'll try to go into after graduation and commissioning, but I'm sure that's nothing that I won't be able to figure out through my experiences next year, CORTRAMID, and maybe another thread or two on this forum ;).

Looking forward to the next steps,

Welcome aboard. Hope the transfer works out for you. A terrific unit with the best football tailgates in the SEC. Enjoy the stadium cleanups! :D

Hah, I have a friend who is currently a 3/C up there and I've heard all about that stadium. In related news, I checked Netfocus this morning and my scholarship was already transferred successfully, which was must faster than I expected! Now I've just got to finish up this whole high school business and I'm right as rain.

That's awesome. Be sure to be in contact with the unit prior to freshman orientation so you can get the proper course numbers/classes for registration. I think there will be three... PT, Lab, and Intro to Navy or whatever they're calling it. Would love to hear how your doing from time to time.
