Yes . It was the end of the Phase 1 recognition.

Can someone explain this to an old grad? Comm's Challenge used to be right before Thanksgiving, and Recognition was the weekend before Spring Break.

As I understand it, this is the first year they are breaking recognition into 2 phases. The cadets were given new ROE tonight for phase 2, that will end in March . They haven't been given any new privileges.

Recognition has not been broken into two phases. The phase program (a separate concept) has been apart of 4 degree year for the past couple of years, so the four degrees will earn new privileges after the new ROEs are released, but Commandant's Challenge is its own event. Recognition will take place in March.
