Hello All,

I recently received a nomination from my Congressman to USNA! Just before I received my Congressman's nomination, however, I had an interview for my Senator's nomination. When I called my BGO to tell him about the nomination to USNA, he mentioned how I might want to consider calling my Senator's office to tell them about the nomination that I received. That said, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this sort of situation before? Does letting the Senator's office know about a nomination from my Congressman even make sense?

Thanks for the help!

It's your call.

Calling would let them know that you have a nomination and that you don't need one; perhaps they'll bypass you (if they were going to nomination you) and give that nomination to another.

Or not.

Totally your call. I've heard this question many times and have always said it's your decision. And that's the answer I've heard other ALO's and BGO's give.

Regardless of your decision, congratulations on the nomination!!
