My son will contract as an AROTC cadet in a few weeks. He is looking for an answer on compliance with the COVID vaccine requirement. He would only be able to obtain 1 dose of Novavax prior to his contract date and would get the 2nd dose after he signs. Or he could get the J&J vaccine now and be done. Will the Army allow him to contract with 1 dose completed of a 2 dose vaccine prior to his contract date?

You have to be fully vaccinated to contract. Either 1x dose of J&J, or 2x doses of the other vaccines. He has to show proof of vaccination status in order to be contracted.
