What set you apart from other applicants? Also, what were your nomination interviews like?
How do we know you're a cow at the joint and not some squid passing out bad poop?
For instance, what is WB-4, and what do you do there?
What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen African swallow?
That's without a coconut.
Well obviously. They aren't migratory. Though I guess two could carry one.
Right! You have to know these things when you're a king.
SO what happens if a Cadet gets all the way through 4 years and is ready to graduate but a week before graduation they are deemed unfit for commissioning. Would they be denied a their degree?
Not usually if it was something out of their control like a medical DQ. They generally get to finish out their 4 years if they're close to finishing and walk away without an obligation and diploma. If it was something of their own fault (honor violation, etc.), they would be held responsible for their actions appropriately. I had a couple classmates that were made into December graduates for doing stupid things during grad week.
Could be worse. Could be sent to the ranks or made to pay off the cost of the 4 years.
Seen both of those happen as well. Generally if you're found on honor, that's the two options you'll end up seeing happen. The guys who became December graduates grad week were regulation violators, not honor.
Do you walk, do you talk, and are you full of chalk?
Tough crowd here for a current cadet offering to help. The WB-4 question would really help answer the secret handshake question.
I think it was in good fun. Not intended to give the OP a hard time.
WB-4 is where you go to return/get issued items. Sometimes you go to WB-9 to do the same thing.
-A "fake" cadet
Oh maaaaaan! The squids are here.
Actually happen to a few this past year. Medical issue developed that prevented commissioning, but were allowed to graduate.
You all have shooed away the cow w your Holy Grail quotation-fest. Not v supportive of someone trying to be supportive.
As per Google (USMA WB-4):
WB4 Washington Basement room 4 A room in the basement of Washington Hall which issues out all uniforms and equipment for USCC personnel.
