I’m an MS3 in Army ROTC. I’m on a 2 year scholarship (in state tuition) however I have only used the one year of the assistance. Under circumstances and my own decision for a better path, I have decided to break contract and attend marine OCS next May. I have been told by my recruiter and saw a similar situation online that once I commission as a marine officer the army board will forgive me of my debt to them after I complete OCS and commission. Since after all I’m still becoming an officer… does anyone else have any more insight on this or can further verify
