I've noticed on the DoDMERB website that dental issues can disqualify a candidate during the review. I currently have braces (I would get them removed upon receiving an appointment, my ALO and I have discussed this), and my teeth are already showing signs of decalcification (small white stains on a couple of upper row teeth).
I don't have any cavities or caries, and nothing is visually "gross" (to use the DoDMERB word), other than the white stains, which my dentist is going to clean 4 days after the DoDMERB review. I do, however, have the early stages of gingivitis.
Will I be disqualified at the review?
Thanks.
