fyi...my DS received an email today from his admission Officer telling him that decisions are starting in 3 weeks. Was hoping for sooner but ohh we'll, hurry up and wait.

It's not so much the waiting for us-- we know things will happen as they are meant to. It's the pressure she is feeling from her classmates having their college acceptances rolling in and the constant barrage of questions from adults asking her "Where are you going to college next year?" or "Have you heard anything yet???". It's painful living in limbo!!!!! So many of her Senior classmates have checked out mentally or are taking minimal classes on a modified schedule. My DD is taking 8 classes as a Senior and a full load and keeps saying, "I sure hope this is worth it!!!". We know it will be no matter the outcome if she is accepted her not.

Does anyone here know if the USCGA aims to select candidates from all US states? Like how universities aim to have diversified enrollment from all US states? I am curious as I can't find any data that implies one way or another.

Yes! It will show up in that same spot with an updated letter.

Was deferred last year, I found out by an automated email invitation to the orientation program that said “congratulations on your appointment”. AO called a couple days thereafter and bears den updated a week later.
