Deferred to RD w/o interview

He looked ....No box. ?? He did email his AO about possibly scheduling an interview if one is needed or required.
 
Was deferred to RA. I have submitted all of my semesters grades to CGA and a few new awards / extra curricular items. Anyone have any ideas for other action that can be taken to improve deferred applications? AO just said to update grades and keep waiting which is tough. Only a couple more months now!

Have your SAT or ACT scores improved? Any additional leadership? Been named captain of a winter sports team? When she was waiting for her EA decision my daughter sent in: 1st quarter grades, that she had been selected as captain of the girls indoor track team, that she had been selected by her school to attend a nationwide leadership conference as a school rep (and had actually attended), and a few other things. The AO said those items were great because it showed continued leadership and that she wasn't slacking off academically or athletically during her senior year.

Thank you for the suggestions! My ACT is a 33 at the moment and I haven't been able to raise it any higher. Fitness Score is a 240. Just submitted an additional leadership activity and how the experience would relate to an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. I am guessing the reason I was deferred is that the admissions board wanted to see how I did in my College Calculus 1 and other higher-level courses, I have submitted transcripts for them.
 
My DD wrote her AO after her application was deferred and asked about the interview among other things. Regarding the interview, she was told if an interview was requested they would reach out to her. Today she got an email requesting to set up an interview so she is very excited.
