Heartbroken is an understatement. I've dedicated every aspect of my life, to my dream of attending the Naval Academy. Getting denied last year was tough, but I bounced back, improved my CFA, retook the SAT's, tried my best to mirror a plebe like schedule, made Deans List here at Virginia Tech, BGO interview couldn't have went any better, and yet here I am, waking up to the same email that I did last April 15th. My heart still burns for USNA, but its hard to think that after giving everything that I have to give and getting denied, what would make them change their mind for next year. Congratulations to everyone who has received an appointment. Take pride in your great accomplishment, but don't take it for granted. Many people would give anything to be in your shoes. Also, thank you to everyone in the Service Academy Forums family. I have learned so much from everyone, and I can't thank you enough. BEAT ARMY everyone!
