Thanks tug! The entire US turned to war production and I think many have forgotten that. IBM in Poughkeepsie (and I'm sure in other locations) made .20 mm aircraft cannon, .30 mm ammo, BARs, and who knows what else! They actually got started before the US officially got in... June 1941.

Our current manufacturing base (or lack thereof) has me concerned about our future and our ability to endure in any long war, even if the American people were behind it.
