dinner reservations for PW

Just wondering if anyone is making dinner reservations for Saturday and what time you are making them for? Also where will you be LI or NYC?:shake:
 
We made our reservations last year for 8:15 or 8:30 for Rothmanns which was about 30 minutes away. That gave us time so as to not worry during the overtime period of the football game, return to the hotel to change into something other than our rainsuits and get to dinner looking forward to a nice, quiet meal with everyone pretty relaxed. We had brought along snacks so DS could have a light colored gatorade and a few munchies before we left the hotel.

We ventured into NYC on Sunday when we had more time to explore and everyone was well rested.

We made reservations at 8:00 on Saturday at Morton's Steakhouse. It's within 10 min of the academy and our hotel.
 
Let your student decide. He/she may just want McDonalds. Ask...remember this is their weekend that you are celebrating :) :) :)
 
Kpmom2011 you are exactly right. I am so glad we did not make elaborate dinner reservations last PW. Our DS wanted fast food, ate it while sprawled on our hotel bed in his sweats, then promptly fell asleep. We did go out for brunch at Bruce's in Great Neck and an early dinner at a nice restaurant in the city for Sunday, but that was DSs choice, not ours. He was very grateful that we let him set the pace for the weekend.
