Dipping (USMA and Active Duty)

On a second note, my DD mentioned the amount of dipping that goes on, I was surprised.
I know it's negative health effects, I would like to see it removed from the Academies. Give them chewing gum, it may wrought you teeth, but I don't think it causes cancer.
As for the peer pressure, you can just say no thanks. You will still be respected.

As I've alluded to previously, the Army hasn't changed much from 1956 in terms of tobacco use. It would be fruitless to ban it at the academy for it to just happen anyway once commissioned. We yell at people for smoking in the office.
