Do recruited athletes usually get their representative's nom or their senator's nom?

There's a really good football player in my district who has gotten an offer from USMA and while I'm a strong candidate I'm concerned.

You can't control it. Every board decides things on their own, so none of us know the answer to this. This football player may have amazing stats also, interview well and earn a nom. He may not and get a Supt's Nom as the football team wants to use one on him. Once again, something you have zero control over. Focus on you, it's the only thing you can control in this process.

The chances for a recruited athlete with a LOA to get a congressional nomination are very high. But that does not mean you are out of the running. They may have another nomination, and It is quite common for more than one applicant to get accepted for a congressional district.
